A Design and Build, land led scheme for a Registered Provider (RP), Places for People, for the construction of 14 two and three bedroom homes.

Tandem Construction purchased the land of the former Neon Social Club in Jarrow, obtained a planning consent and undertook all legal and technical due diligence before commencing construction under a JCT Design and Build Contract.

We have managed all onsite construction elements including the management of subcontractors, building control sign off, installation of services and adoption of all infrastructure works.

We have our own standard house type range which we utilised on this development with all meeting NDSS and M42 standards.

A fixed price was provided for the construction element of the works and delivered with our trusted team of sub-contractors. Our sub contract base has been built on years of working together and building relationships on various large scale developments.

The scheme achieved Practical Completion at the end of August 2023 and we look forward to working with Places for People in the near future.
