The core focus of our business is housebuilding, predominantly via land led deals but we also carry out contracting works for clients to build out full developments, from heras fencing the site to handing over completed plots to clients. We also carry out some specialist works such as renovating existing buildings to provide supported living accommodation and school fit outs of bathrooms and kitchens.

All of our tradespeople have a high level of quality and consistency, whilst we keep the same core group of trades people this allows us to keep our high standards. Our subcontractors are also local businesses and are CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) or equivalent accredited, confirming that all of their health and safety processes meet excellent standards – making us a reliable choice in the North East.
We have 14 standard house types at Tandem Construction all of which are NDSS (Nationally Described Space Standards) and M42 compliant (setting a high standard for accessible homes).
As part of our service, all insurance requirements in terms of Public Liability, Employers Liability and Professional Indemnity are provided with warranties on all housing developments being provided by the well-respected Premier Guarantee.
